Tournaments in the TTG programme

We organise trips to three of the biggest youth tournaments in Europe. Each one is a unique experience that stays with a child for life.

World's largest
Gothenburg · July · Founded in 1975

Gothia Cup

Gothia Cup is the biggest children's football tournament on the planet. Every July more than 1,700 teams from 80+ countries converge on Gothenburg. For many young players it is their first trip abroad and their first real international competition.

Participants 40,000+ players
Countries 80+ countries
Teams 1,700+ teams
Age U11 — U18
Format 7 days, group stage + play-offs
Stadium Gamla Ullevi, Gothenburg

Why it matters

Gothia Cup is more than a tournament. It is a week-long immersion in international sport: training sessions, matches against teams from Japan, Brazil and Nigeria, an opening ceremony at the stadium. Children come back changed — more confident, more open-minded, more motivated.

Kings Cup

Kings Cup combines stages in Estonia and Spain — a rare format where teams play first at home and then travel to a Mediterranean arena. TTG organises participation and full support at both stages.

Stages Tallinn + Valencia
Countries Estonia, Spain and others
Age U9 — U16
Format Group games + finals
Climate Mediterranean in Spain
Level Intermediate and advanced

Why it matters

Two different contexts — home stands and foreign stadiums — give teams a unique competitive experience. The Spanish stage is particularly valuable: Spanish club football is among the best in the world, and playing against local clubs builds an understanding of what a high level of play really means.

Oldest in Scandinavia
Hjørring · July · Founded in 1978

Dana Cup

Dana Cup is one of the oldest youth tournaments in Europe. It has been held in Hjørring, Denmark since 1978. More than 1,000 teams from 50+ countries, an atmosphere of Scandinavian hospitality, and a high standard of play make it a must-visit for ambitious teams.

Participants 25,000+ players
Countries 50+ countries
Teams 1,000+ teams
Age U11 — U19
Format 7 days, groups + knockout
Location Hjørring, North Jutland

Why it matters

Dana Cup is renowned for its exceptionally friendly and well-organised atmosphere. Danish hosts welcome teams in schools and sports complexes, creating a special tournament spirit. For many participants it is their first encounter with Scandinavian culture and the high organisational standards of the region's sporting events.

Frequently asked questions

From what age can children take part?

It depends on the tournament: Gothia Cup and Dana Cup accept teams from U11. Kings Cup starts from U9. Participation is team-based only — individual registrations are not accepted.

Are any special documents required?

A valid passport is required. Citizens of Estonia do not need a visa to travel within the EU. We provide full details of all requirements well in advance.

How much does a trip cost?

The cost depends on the tournament, the number of players, accommodation standard and dates. Contact us — we will prepare a quote tailored to your team.

Can we travel without our own coach?

Yes. A TTG representative accompanies the team and handles all organisational matters. If you have your own coach — great, they are welcome to join.

When should we apply for the next season?

Start planning a full year ahead — by March, spots are gone and payment must be complete. Registration for Gothia Cup and Dana Cup opens in the autumn of the previous year. Contact us in September–October to guarantee your place in the next season.
